According to the United Nations (UN), an additional 1.35 billion people will live in cities by 2030. Well-planned measures are essential for reducing risk of flash floods. Flash floods typically inflict more damage densely populated areas. The province Hail encompasses 120,000 square kilometers, or approximately 6% total land area Kingdom Saudi Arabia. Due its innate physiographic and geologic character, city is susceptible a wide variety geo-environmental risks such as sand drifts, floods, rock falls. aim this work evaluate rate urban sprawl region using remote sensing data identify areas that would be affected simulated worst-case From 1984 2022, global urbanization increased from 467 713% region.
